In 2016, Kelsie Hayes founded the innovative and influential, POPUPFLORIST. Originally conceptualized as a popup concept, POPUPFLORIST has grown to be a full e-commerce, retail, and event design company.

Kelsie comes with a unique perspective, having studied and worked as a fashion designer for a decade in NYC and Los Angeles. Kelsie leads her team of women to push the boundaries of traditional floral design, and bring their own interpretation, fusing unexpected textures and captivating color palettes. POPUPFLORIST brings this design sensibility as well as a deep knowledge of branding to all of their partnerships. This approach has helped them build a client roster that includes some of the best brands in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle markets.

Kelsie’s continuous passion and focus, however, is bringing POPUPFLORIST to people’s homes. The website offers a selection of inspired fresh and preserved floral designs, created using florals sourced daily in the NYC flower market, where POPUPFLORIST HQ is located. The team is made up of a group of people who have discovered floral design as a passion, and have learned through real experience, as opposed to traditional florist school. All creations are “designers choice,” which Kelsie feels is crucial to deliver and execute the most high quality arrangements.
